A super smashing young photographer

Photographer, Laura Anthony, has been busy putting together an excellent exhibition for her Silver Arts Award. Laura is 16 years old and has independently organised a solo show of her 'random' images at the Solaris in Blackpool. The photographs explore landscapes, emotions, objects, portraiture and things she has happened upon.

The exhibition runs until the end of September and all works are for sale, just £19.99!! Pop down and support her first show and while you are there leave a comment with her work.

vintage treats for your garden

I have been pottering in my garden this weekend, enjoying the summer while it is here, and felt I was missing some vintage touches.

There are lots of great website and online shops but, I have found a lovely one dedicated to vintage gardens, with victorian terracotta pots, gorgeous wooden trugs and old watering cans. Mabel & Rose is based in the Cotswolds and well worth a look.
