Music Festival in Salford


















Sounds From the Other City new music festival unites the cream of the local scene with the planet's finest musicians and club nights for a sonic extravaganza. Now Wave, Comfortable on a Tightrope, High Voltage and Hey! Manchester are some of the city's hottest promoters hosting stages at this event which takes over Chapel Street, Salford from 3pm to midnight on Sunday, May 1.

Previous years have included landmark shows by Bo Ningen, Egyptian Hip Hop, The Ting Tings, and Marina and The Diamonds. The full line up will be announced soon, but will include 78 live acts on 13 stages as well as art installations, karaoke, spoken word performances, happenings and piles of fine booze and food.

Venues taking part include the Old Pint Pot, St Philips Church, Islington Mill, The Crescent, Rovers Return and lots more! Critically acclaimed and insanely good fun, SFTOC is a celebration of the finest new music, for just £18. Line ups subject to change.
